About The Teachers

 

A Note from Mrs. Clark:     

     

     This is my sixth year teaching here at Pecatonica Elementary. I will be teaching Title 1 reading as well as Reading Recovery. Before coming to Pecatonica, I taught Title 1 reading in the Belvidere School District for four years, and worked part-time as a Title 1 tutor in the Rockford
School District for four years. Prior to those experiences, I spent five years as a stay at home mom and five years as a third grade teacher at St. James Scholl in Rockford. 

     My family and I live in Davis.  My husband, Tom, works at Sonco Pools and Spas. We have two children.  Sam is 18 and is attending his first year at Rock Valley College. Sarah is 17 and a senior in Durand. We have a beagle named Cookie.

      When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family. Also, I enjoy reading and playing games. If I have any extra time I love to scrapbook.

 

 

A Note From Mrs. Moyer

 

     This is my fifth year with the Pecatonica School District. I am the Curriculum Director for the district K-12, my office is located in the middle school. I am also teaching Reading Recovery at the elementary school. Prior to coming to Pecatonica, I taught at Orangeville and Monroe. I have taught Title I, third, fourth, and fifth grade.

     My family and I live in Pecatonica. My husband, Rich, works at Pecatonica Middle School as a teacher and the activities director. My stepson Zach is attending South Dakota State. Our daughter Quinn is in sixth grade at Pecatonica Middle School. We have a Chocolate Lab named Bucky. As a family we enjoy attending University of Wisconsin sporting events- Go Badgers! I spend a lot of time at my children's activities. I enjoy reading, of course, running, and scrapbooking in my free time.
